Star Trek
Star Trekn (originally named by its French title, Patrouille du cosmos) is a science fiction universe, created by Gene Roddenberry in 1966, which brings together seven television series which count 788 episodes (i.e. more than five hundred and forty hours of program), thirteen feature films, hundreds of novels, comics and dozens of video games, as well as significant fanfiction. Between 2006 and 2019, the television franchise was the exclusive property of CBS, while the film franchise was the property of Viacom, parent company of Paramount Pictures. Since the merger of ViacomCBS in 2019, the Star Trek franchise has once again been brought together under the same entity.
