On the day of her baptism, Aurore was condemned to die on her 16th birthday by the evil fairy Maleficent. Through the efforts of three good fairies, the curse was altered to send Aurora into an endless sleep that can only be lifted by true love's kiss. Her parents hide her deep in the forest to undo the curse, but Maleficent's trickery lulls her into a deep sleep. Despite being dangerously restrained by the evil fairy, courageous Prince Phillip will stop at nothing to wake Aurora.
