John Houston Stockton, born March 26, 1962 in Spokane, Washington, is an American basketball player who plays as a point guard.
He spent his entire professional career with the Utah Jazz in the NBA and formed a prolific duo for eighteen years with power forward Karl Malone.
An excellent passer, John Stockton won the title of best passer of the NBA season nine times in a row, from 1987 to 1996. He is also the best interceptor in NBA history with 3,265 achievements.
